如果你对历史感兴趣的话，欢迎你来西安。西安有很多历史遗迹比如兵马俑、大雁塔和明城墙，博物馆的翻译也很好，大唐不夜城这种步行街可以体验汉服，可以感受唐朝的风气。从北京坐高铁到西安只需要5小时。
南京和洛阳也是很不错的选择
If you are interested in history, you are welcome to visit Xi'an. Xi'an has many historical sites, such as the Terracotta Warriors, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Ming City Wall. The translations in the museums are also very good. The pedestrian street of Datang Bujiecheng allows you to experience Hanfu（A traditional Chinese garment) and feel the atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty. It only takes 5 hours to travel from Beijing to Xi'an by high-speed train.
Nanjing and Luoyang are also excellent choices.

I just received my Visa in the mail a few days ago and they gave me the maximum possible time for a (L) Tourist Visa thankfully. I'm pretty sure I got mostly everything figured out (AliPay, WeChat, CTrip, Amap, etc.) so I'm less worried now.
Booked the flights and I'm going to be leaving at 10PM on August 17th (in my timezone) and when I'll arrive it'll be 10PM on August 19th (China Standard Time) so it's going to be a very long & miserable flight haha.
几天前，我刚收到邮寄过来的签证。值得庆幸的是，他们给了我（L字）旅游签证所能获批的最长有效期。我基本上已经把所有事情都弄明白了（支付宝、微信、携程、高德地图等等），所以现在没那么担心了。
机票已经订好了！我会在我所在时区的8月17日晚上10点出发，抵达时将是中国标准时间8月19日晚上10点，所以这趟航程会非常漫长又难熬，哈哈。

我最后可能还是会通过携程（CTrip/Trip.com）预订所有行程，所以我觉得整个过程应该会很顺利。我之前也去过乌克兰，记得当时很多人建议护照要随身携带，所以我就买了一个小斜挎包。真的很方便，这次旅行我肯定也会带上。

Thanks a ton, I'm still a little worried about the rates of English speakers because since I'm planning on staying for a while I don't want to end up feeling lonely on my trip (which tends to happen a lot when solo-travelling for quite a while). I'm sure everything will go smoothly though. (;´ヮ`)7

I would like to note though that I have put quite a bit of effort into learning Mandarin & pinyin ( hanzi is terrifying and I would prefer to avoid being overwhelmed ), but I doubt I'll be able to make real progress past HSK 1 within the next month especially since I have a few things regarding work I have to handle irl at the moment.
不过我想说明一下，我确实花了不少精力学习普通话和拼音（汉字太可怕了，我不想让自己压力太大），但我觉得自己很难在接下来的一个月里真正突破HSK一级，尤其是目前现实生活中还有一些工作上的事情需要处理。

我大概知道那边的天气会怎么样，目前打算到了以后买件塑料雨衣，以防下雨。今天早些时候，我刚在市里的湖上玩了漂流圈（附了照片），结果被严重晒伤了。今天气温高达华氏109度（摄氏42.7778度），星期六还会升到华氏114度（摄氏45.5556度）。我觉得北京的高温应该还能承受，但更担心伴随高温而来的潮湿闷热，希望自己能适应。 (;´ヮ`)7
